Verbatim: A Novel -- cancellation
The novel you're looking at had been scheduled for publication in the late fall of 2006. Abruptly, the publisher, Jesperson, cancelled the contract. After speaking with one of its principals, I contacted the Writers' Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador to see what could be done. One thing led to another, and the matter made it to the online pages of the esteemed Canadian publication Quill & Quire.
