Ennead
Synopsis
Ennead is a quiet domestic novel set in the same mythical province as Verbatim: A Novel and Mirrors on which dust has fallen. It is a lipogrammatic novel, certain letters have been dropped out of each of the nine sections (ennead = a group of nine), and its chronology is jumbled. Each section can stand on its own. The time span is the 1990s to today.

Unidentified Man at Left of Photo
Synopsis
Unidentified Man at Left of Photo is a satirical novel that occurs in C-town (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) in the historical present. Occurs, because it has the feel of a made-as-you-watch work. The action is frequently abandoned, barely sketched in, and interrupted; there's no regard for plot or character development; and C-town is not the Charlottetown everyone recognizes: its history and streets are all a bit off. The intrusive narrator speaks directly to the reader, invents things on the spot, and dismantles the narrative almost as it gets built.
One of the things associated with PEI is Anne of Green Gables, a universally recognized fictional character known for her red hair. Here's a link to a published excerpt from Unidentified Man at Left of Photo which features a cameo by a completely different red-headed girl.

And here's the first chapter, titled "Start it over," which helps to give an idea of how the book looks and sounds.
